October Members of the Month - Andy Kucich and Monique Barras

Congratulations to our October Members of the Month, Monique Barras and Andy Kucich!

Both Monique and Andy have been heavily involved in Junior Council by attending all of our member activities and fundraisers. 

Monique has been extremely involved in Corporate Work Nights and helping out the Corporate Chairs with their fundraising efforts for Snowball.

Andy was instrumental in securing our September general board meeting speaker, Dr. Reynolds, the Head of General Surgery at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago!

We really appreciate you both being such active and involved members! Thanks for all of your involvement!

August Members of the Month - Natalie Diamond and Mackenzie Roach

Congratulations to our August Members of the Month, Natalie Diamond and Mackenzie Roach! 

Both Natalie and Mackenzie have been heavily involved in Junior Council through helping promote and attend all of our social and general member functions, including Tuesday night volleyball games, Cruisin' for a Cause and general board meetings. 

We really appreciate you both being such active and involved members! Thanks for all of your involvement and being members that the board can count on!

July Member of the Month - Justin Lewis

Congratulations to our July Member of the Month, Justin Lewis! 

Justin has been an integral part of Junior Council since the beginning of the year in helping promote and attend all of our social and general member functions, including volleyball, Cruisin' for a Cause and general board meetings. We appreciate all of his efforts thus far and look forward to his continued involvement as we get ready for Snowball 2017!

June Member of the Month - Connie Kulczycki

Congratulations to our June Member of the Month, Connie Kulczycki! 

Connie has been an impressive member of Junior Council, not only promoting and attending events, but also recruiting new members to join the board and coming to all general meetings!  

We really appreciate you being such an active and involved member, Connie!  Thanks for all your positivity and always being a trusted member who we can count on!

May Members of the Month - Renee Pospisil and Ross Donewald

Congratulations to our May Members of the Month, Renee Pospisil and Ross Donewald!  

So many of our general members have been contributing so much time and effort lately that we couldn’t choose just one Member of the Month!

Renee really killed the donation game, coming through with over $2,000 in donations for our Move for the Kids 5K team! The race, which serves as one of our big fundraising pushes for the year, was held on Sunday, May 15. All of Renee’s fundraising will be put to good use, funding everything from comfort items for patients to small lab supplies for the hospital’s clinical trials. Thanks so much for your contributions, Renee!

Ross has been an amazing general member and a big supporter of Junior Council – he has been attending all of our meetings and events, from Wednesday night meetings to Tuesday night bowling. We’re so lucky to have such a dedicated member, especially one who brings new members along to see what the JC is all about! Thanks for all of your involvement and continued commitment, Ross! 

April Member of the Month - Melissa Schauer

A big congratulations to our April Member of the Month, Melissa Schauer! 

Melissa has been the perfect example of a Junior Council general member since she joined us last summer. Not only has she attended all of our meetings and events, but has brought in multiple new members over the course of her own membership. Melissa is always working hard to contribute to the success of JC, including volunteering at work nights leading up to Snowball, helping to secure corporate donations.

We couldn’t be happier to have such a wonderful member as a part of our crew – Melissa, thank you and keep up the amazing work! 

March Member of the Month - Zack Brenner

Congratulations to one of our March Member of the Month, Zack Brenner!!! Zack has been a big help and a huge supporter of the Junior Council. He has attended pretty much all of our events over the past year and has brought new members each time. He also is all over our social media accounts sharing and liking all of our post. Zack also was just named one of our Social Chairs on the new 2016-2017 Executive Board. Congrats on the win! We look forward to see what new and fun events he brings to the JC future! Thanks for all your hard work, Zack!!! 

February Members of the Month - Samantha, Stephanie & Joel

Congratulations to our February Members of the Month Samantha Rollin, Stephanie Wezelman and Joel Pachefsky. These 3 members showed up the next day after Snowball 2016 to help clean up. We can't thank you enough for getting up early after a late night and helping us move everything to storage. Samantha also has volunteered for the 2nd year to be a photographer at Snowball 2016. January Member of the Month - Katie Heppard

Congratulations to our January Member of the Month, Katie Heppard!!! Katie has been a HUGE help to our marketing team for Snowball 2016. Katie was able to get Snapchat to have a Snowball filter on January 30th! This means Snowball will be all over everyone's Snapchat feed! She also was able to get $200 in Facebook advertising for Snowball 2016. Not only did she get the money to do the ads but she has been creating different strategies to use that money to reach young professional in Chicago. She is now going to be able to reach a whole group on Facebook and Instragram that we have never been able to connect with before. These ads are really going to help us get the word out about Snowball 2016 and will 100% have a large impact on our sales. These ads give us a large advantage! We believe this Snowball will be are largest yet! Thank you so much, Katie! You have been amazing! We are so happy to have you on the Junior Council team!

Are You Ready for Snowball 2016?

In a couple of weeks, one of the most exciting events in Chicago is going to be held and for a great cause. We will be hosting our 28th Annual Snowball, a black tie event hosting 2,000 young professionals for a night of dancing, drinking, eating and socializing while raise money for the Infectious Disease Clinic at the children's hospital. It's a great opportunity for networking, making new friends and supporting a cause that will give kids a chance at life when they may not have had one before. We promise this is a night you will NOT forget! 

If you're a foodie, this is the perfect event for you! We will have some of Chicago's best restaurants there with different bites for you to eat. Restaurant sponsors for Snowball 2016 include: Frontier, Sunda, South Branch Tavern & Grille, Stella Barra, Summer House, Ra Sushi Bar & Restaurant, Mon Ami Gabi, Cafe Ba Ba Reeba, 25 Degrees, Bombay Wraps, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Mercadito Fish Co, Roti, Cemita Pueblas, Nando's Peri Peri, Barcocina, Do-Rite Donuts, Stan's Donuts, Tre Soldi, Dino BBQ, Coast Sushi, and Davanti Enoteca. December Member of the Month - Rachel Jacklin

Congratulations to our December Member of the Month, Rachel Jacklin!!! Rachel is a new member to the Junior Council and came in strong. She has attended all of our latest Junior Council meetings and has been a huge supporter at all of our events. Rachel has been working very hard on helping out with Snowball 2016. She was able to recruit a Bernard Movers, a moving company to help us move all the decorations out of Union Station the morning after Snowball. The next morning is always a big struggle so this is a MAJOR bonus! We are very lucky to have Rachel on our team and we look forward to working with her more in the future. Thanks for all your hard work, Rachel!!! 

November Member of the Month - Kim Cramer

We want to give a HUGE shout out to Kim Cramer, one of our November Members of the Month! Kim is another new member making a large impact on the Junior Council. Kim has spent a lot of time attending all of our events. She has also attending our JC work nights and focused hard on Snowball and bringing new sponsors, auction items and more to the event. She has dedicated a lot of her own time to help the Junior Council be successful. Thank you for all your hard work Kim! You're doing a great job. Keep it up! 

November Member of the Month - Ray Waters

Congratulations to one of our November Members of the Month, Ray Waters!!! Ray is a new member to the Junior Council and came in ready to work. She has attended all of our latest Junior Council meetings, events and hospital tours. Ray has been a major help at all of our JC work nights. She has been spending a lot of time and energy obtaining some amazing auction items for #Snowball2016! Ray has made a huge impact already and we look forward to see what she brings in the future! Snowball Kick-Off Party!

Junior Council's Snowball Kick-Off Party is almost here! This party takes place on Friday, November 13th at The Underground Chicago from 10 pm - 12 pm. Tickets are $40 online or you can purchase our Snowball Ticket Package for $150. The Snowball Ticket Package is your chance to save $50 on your Snowball ticket. Snowball ticket prices will increase to $135 after the kick-off party so jump on this great deal!

October Member of the Month - Courtney Jackson

Congratulations to our October Member of the Month, Courtney Jackson!!! Courtney is a new member to the Junior Council and she has already made a huge impact. She has attended all of our latest Junior Council meetings and events. Courtney has also worked closely with our Corporate Exec members on getting sponsorship for Snowball 2016. September Member of the Month - Jeron Hernandez

Congratulations to our September Member of the Month, Jeron Hernandez! Throughout the entire year Jeron has been a huge help to the Junior Council. He has regularly attended our meetings, events, hospital tours and our sporting leagues. He has also stepped up and attended our work night meetings and became an ambassador for the Junior Council. Thanks for stepping up, Jeron! 

August Member of the Month - Joel Pachefski

We want to give a HUGE shout out to Joel Pachefski, our August Member of the Month! Joel has been very loyal new member to the Junior Council. Joel has kicked butt at our volleyball games over the summer. He has also been a huge help promoting all of our upcoming events on social media. Every post counts! Thank you so much for all your help and hard work, Joel! You're a rock star! 

July Member of the Month - Lizzie Ranshaw

Congratulations to our July Member of the Month Lizzie Ranshaw! Lizzie was a huge help at last years Snowball and since then has been a loyal member of the Junior Council. She has been a huge support attending our hospital tour, happy hours and our general meetings. Thank you so much for being such an amazing member of the Junior Council. 

June Member of the Month - Sarah Warlick

We want to give a HUGE shout out to Sarah Warlick, our June Member of the Month! Sarah has been a very dedicated member of Junior Council. She joined us for the Move for the Kids 5K and our 5th Annual Flip Cup Tournament. Her team even won our Flip Cup Tournament! Thank you so much for all your dedication, Sarah!!!

Congratulations to our May Member of the Month, Deepthi Bettadapur! Deepthi is a new member to the Junior Council and she has already made an impact. She has been very active attending recent meetings and events. She is also getting involved with our mentor program.  We look forward to his continued involvement in all Junior Council activities.
